Dandelions

Our lawn is covered in these pretty little flowers Jacob calls weeds. Last night he told the kids that for every one they picked they could have 1 penny. Doesn't sound like much but I have already paid out 11 dollars and you can't see much difference in the yellow hue on our lawn (and I've been checking their bags too, they're not cheating) that is just how many we have.

Karissa's New Bunny

COCOA MAY

Karissa's friend gave her her bunny. Karissa is so happy. She has wanted another bunny since her old one ran away right after we moved into this house.

So Sweet

I was going through pictures on my phone and found this one and thought I would share it with you. Jacob had just come home from work and Karissa was sick that day so this is how I found them.

Happy Birthday Aleigha

Aleigha turned 6 today! She has been really wanting a princess cake so I decided to give it a try. At first she wanted one with a pink dress (her favorite color since she was little). Then she changed her mind and wanted a yellow one. Last week she decided her favorite colors are brown and blue so finally she made up her mind and wanted one with a brown dress with blue on it. So this is what I came up with.

I wish I hadn't done the blue swirls but by the time I decided that it was too late. Oh well. It is also a little lopsided but Aleigha loves it and that is what counts.

We are not having her party until later in the month which will be combined with her 2 little brothers birthdays that way we don't have to take three trips to Grants Pass this month so their grandparents can be there.

Happy Birthday Aleigha!

Easter Weekend

DSCI1159 DSCI1149 DSCI1160 DSCI1161

We had snow for Easter weekend so I told the kids that we didn’t need to dye the eggs and then it would make finding them a lot harder.  :) They didn’t think that was such a good idea so here are some pictures of them dying eggs. Afterwards I went and hid them out in the yard. I didn’t get any pictures of them finding eggs (but Jacob took a video) so I don’t have any pictures of that.

On Sunday morning we headed to the sunrise service at church, and then had brunch there and went to the 9:00 service as well. After church was over we headed to Grants Pass to visit with Jacob’s family for a while and then went to my parents house for dinner. We didn’t end up getting home until 11:00 that night so it ended up being a very long day but a whole lot of fun!
