More Painting and Rambling

These first 2 pictures are of the window sills on the walls that separate our living room and office. Jacob hated the way these looked when we first moved in and said we would need to do something about them. Well we finally are finished so the last 2 pictures are what they look like now. Sorry my pictures are not very good, but you get the idea.

We  used semi-gloss paint which I know is pretty shiny to have in the living room but with 6 kids we are constantly washing spots off the walls so we wanted to be able to scrub them with out the paint all coming off.

 I also bought some cute little glitter covered snowflakes that I will hang down from the window sills for Christmas. Our outside Christmas lights are already up but we are waiting until the day after Thanksgiving to decorate the inside. Jacob's first day off after Thanksgiving we will be headed out into the woods to get our Christmas tree. It has been a long time since we went into the woods to get one but the kids are all excited about it.
